Flying School
Hello,

Do you think may be a good idea to open a new threat whith examples of special maneuvers (vertical scissors, wingovers, etc)?.

Some days a go I tried a climbing vertical roll with a Spad against an Albatross and got a Bretzel Dodgy

That could serve as "templates" for us (begginers) and also as a challenge to improve it. Maybe with WW I era planes the possibilities are quite limited but for the future may be interesting and a good introduction point for newbies.

Just an idea.

RE: Flying School
I know with some of the maneuvers it works best to look at the actual maneuver done by a live airplane and see what elements it contains, and then do that combination in CF. That's how I picked up the Hammerhead Stall, which is essentially and violent pull-up into a vertical angle, then chopping the throttle and staying vertical. Next best thing to panic breaking.

But you don't want to do that with aircraft that have poor spin characteristics.
