After Action Reports
Hi all,

a new thread for any after action reports.

I have attached my first run through with the system.

Not really any action just me getting used to the rules but I thought I'd start the ball rolling.

RE: After Action Reports
I joked to people in my group about a book called "BE-2c Aces of WW-I." Imagine my chagrin when I got this:

Capt. D.H.M. Carberry flew Be 2s with 52 SQD and RE 8s with 59 SQD. He is credited with 5 kills. However there is no break down of how many were scored in which a/c .

Oh Well.

RE: After Action Reports
Thanks guys.

I enjoy doing them and they help me focus on learning the rules.

I have added another one below - not exactly an example of good flying (again) but I had fun with it

cheers

Ross

RE: After Action Reports
Again - great AAR! You should post these over at BGG - so those sitting on the fence can get 'pushed' over Smile

Thanks Old Blue.

I tried to post to BGG but gave up when I realized that you can't post files about after action reports. To post the AAR directly I would have to upload all of the individual pictures etc etc.

It's like they don't want you to post stuffDodgy

I will post links to here, I think. See how that goes

thanks again

Ross

RE: After Action Reports
I've been a bit snowed under as we have Ofsted in this week (UK Government Educational audit).

I have managed to get the first 2 turns done of my next scenario but as I won't get much chance to game this week, the files are getting larger as the battles get larger and I put more detail into each move, I have decided to place the first PDF up for perusal.

I will add later turns as I do them.

cheers

Ross

How was it managing 5 planes?

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy shit...what a ride!"

Not as bad as you'd think. Each aircraft flies in turn and the fact that I am writing up the AAR as I play helps me stay focused on what each individual is trying to do.

Of course it does take longer to do each move but other than that I think that even 6 v 6 would be doable solo.

And what a furball that would be Big Grin
